• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So on my 2009 I want to take the top off and put a battery in it to make sure it all works. For the life of me I don’t see a screw holding the top on above the see thru glass. I see install videos and they always talk about a set screw. I see nothing

I'm pretty sure you can just pull the cap off but check with GloRyder.com. they added set screws to later versions but the O-ring pretty much keeps it in place.

On my earlier ones (2008 - 2011) I could get at the back batteries without removing the wheel. After removing the cap with the setscrews, the "guts" disassemble from the front and you can remove the set screws exposing the inside batteries on the backside of the guts.

I no longer have them. They are living a second life in the lower 48 somewhere.
