Thanks I never heard that version ..... I have always enjoyed the guitar work and melody, of t he Classic version ...some things can't be improved ...... The best version that was Sung was by Vaughn Monroe , that gives me goose bumps ..... Google it , on U-tube ( His 1965 concert version is the best He ever did,it's listed further down )....Also in 61 the Ramrods did an Acoustic version that really rocked ...... it's worth listening to ...... Several years ago I had the opportunity to see Roy Clark live from 2nd row seats. At the end of the show he played the fiddle. He was so fast, I couldn't follow the tip of the bow, it was just a blur.
