• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Getting rid of the cat

My wife has a 2015 f3s and so does her sister. Her sister put a Cat bypass pipe on hers a little too loud for my wife. This weekend I remove her 1st muffler which has the cat in it. With out cutting any holes I remove the cat from the muffler. From the motor side look in the muffler you can see the cat. I used a tire iron to beat the cat in to small pieces then turn the muffler upside down. Take the cat parts out of the same hole. What I got was a lower tone out of the f3.

Sounds like a good cheap mod. A mate of mine did this on a older diesel car over here as their was no requirement on the emissions test for what it did.
