• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Getting ready to order a Baja Ron RT sway bar?

I'm about the worst case scenario that Ron had nightmares about... :yikes:
It took me a little over five hours :opps:; you'll do much better!
Most folks have it nailed in place in well less than two...
and the good ones in under an hour!

The directions were great; it's a pretty straightforward installation. Taking the OEM bar out teaches all that you'll need to know about the "RonBar" installation.

Baja Ron to Canada, shipping update

Hi to all: Just an update on postal delivery in Canada for THE BAR........ I received the package today and did not have to pay any extra charges. Canada Post delivered to my door with a smile and cheerful greeting. I forgot to ask what they would do if nobody was home so I can't really comment on whether they would leave the package or take it to the nearest post office for pickup. Hope this helps anyone here in Canada leery of ordering for fear of duties and other add-on charges. As mentioned in my previous post, I ordered online and used PayPal with no difficulty. It is still a bit chilly up here to work in an unheated garage,( 28 F today ) but I'll post my results and experiences after installation.....Ride Safe everyone...... :2thumbs:

Title change..!!

You should change your post from getting ready to GOT IT..!! Good luck lets see how well it works in a foreign land...:roflblack:

Netminder, a lot of if's going on here but....

If the import duty, shipping etc is too much & if you can wait & if Magog runs this year normally in July, I'm more than happy to have you ship it here and I will put it in the trailer to bring over.

iffy,
harry
Thanks Harry! And everyone else for their replies, but it is already ordered. I went as suggested with regular shipping as I am not in a rush, still lots of snow here. but I will be happy to get it and will post my installation experience when done.I have a spyderpops skid plate, so might take a bit longer.

Sway bar shipping

I'm from Alberta and Ron shipped my sway bar to me on Feb.27. I haven't received it yet but I hope it arrives soon so that I can install it and ride. The tracking # I am using seems to be stuck in New Jersey. I hope that is just a USPS thing because if Canada Post is the same then at that rate I may not get it until next year. :cus:

I ordered an RT sway bar, plugs and leads from Ron,
Had to wait for Ron to get a batch in before he could ship, but no issues as soon as he received they were on their way to Calgary and arrived Canada Post. No duty to pay. Paid with PayPal again no issues.

Too cold to fit at the moment! Doing a lot of other things like K&N airfilter from Kewmetal and adjustable handle bars so only want to strip it down once! Done it all before when fitting Chrome handlebar cover, GPS and had the side plates black powder coated. 2010 RT-S.

Brain dead when I ordered the sway bar as need one for the wife's GS! Guess what she dont know dont hurt her.
