• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Harvey and his son made it in about 11pm last night and now we're waiting on Ron to show so we can get out of here. First stop will be Harrisburg PA. That's right at 500 miles. I'll be posting pics as we go.

Lamont, Ron, Harvey and son,

Safe travels to you all - and I pity the person who rides behind Harvey with those pipes of his! I rode behind him last year at the Smokies and after a couple of miles I was going deaf!... Sounds incredible though in short doses. :2thumbs:

As usual, full of envy here as I wish I was going.

well does anyone want to takes odds on ron being latenojoke
lamont all of you be carefull and have a good time .we are going in the other direction to ride the coast line fl. al. ms. la.:ohyea:

Safe travels all! I am also on the way. The ferry from Nl to ns was delayed 7 hours so I am behind today but still hope to get into fredricton nb tonight, fingers crossed.

Safe trip guys!
Dean

Have I been under a rock? Where's the RT? :hun:

His RS was lonely and needs the rust shaken off. Lamont has a post here somewhere about not being too confident about the paperwork for the RT getting him across the border both ways - given that it isn't his. Customs can be a real PITA.

It's so beautiful in E Tenn. I can't go to Canada and look forward to the posts and photos. Have a wonderful Ryde. May the Angels ryde with you all.:f_spider:

I was wondering about that , probably easy to geta Qubec plated Spyder in but coming back maybe not. Maybe he should try coming in from the Mexico side , that appears easier each day.

We made it to Harrisburg PA today as planned. It was really hot but all the Spyders ran great. :doorag: We did have one issue at the first fuel stop. Ron forgot to screw on his radiator cap so he puked a bunch of coolant at the gas station. :gaah: We got a bite to eat at and let it cool down and he had to add about 80 oz's of water to fill it back up. :opps:

Even though it was only 500 miles we still got through five states today. :doorag:
Getting through VA was a real pain. The speed limit is 65mph and there were cops everywhere. We ran 70-75 most of the way and as long as cars were passing us we were okay.

Are plans are to run to Plattsburgh, NY tomorrow and that will leave us with about a 100 miles to Sherbrooke on Friday.

I got to tell you it feels really good to be back on the RS again. I wish my Corbin on the RS felt as good as the one on the RT, other than that it was great. The Spyders were a hit everywhere we stopped. It's nice to have other people doing all the answering of all the same old questions. :2thumbs:

I didn't get a whole lot of pics today but this is what I have.
