• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Getting ready to depart Springfield and Spyderfest 2014

Sorry no pic, even tho the narrative says there is one...what was it? A huge stack of stuff on the motel bed waiting for me to "deal" with!!!
Good Morning All:

If you are asking what is this pic of: Let me give you a "little" background information. I have traveled for almost 70k miles over a 3+ year period with everything I or the Spyder needed ON the Spyder. Then this year I decided I would add a trailer to my road show. Well, folks that pile you see is what I am trying to still get into the trailer...now it is already 2/3 full...and that is only one area of my motel room that I am trying to figure out how to cram into/on or around...unbelievable is what it is. I truly do not understand how all of my stuff has multiplied in a 2 week period. Kind of like those rocks we used to pick out of the fields...field cleared of all rocks and next morning a whole new crop.

So I'm thinking that is what has happened here. Has absolutely "nothing" to do with the fact that I'm pretty sure I bought at least one of everything in vendor village...wait maybe that was 2 of everything!!!

What is my goal today? To get everything packed up before my traveling companion, Paula, joins me...she will just think I'm this minimalist that only got the trailer cause it makes a nice "outfit"...

Tomorrow will head out for points south. Paula will travel with me for a few days, then we will return through Springfield...by then I will be ready for the first service on the new ryde (3-4k miles)...then I will work my way back West...to finalize anything for the Heart of WA ryde that I starts June 6 (early arrival on 6/5!!). Weather is gorgeous in Springfield...

Spyderfest 2014 was an incredible event...but then it always is...As it gets bigger pretty sure that soon they will need to hire an event planner. Pitbull Powersports, Lamonster Garage and MoGang have done an incredible job..what started out 5 years ago as a BBQ for about 30 Spyder ryders has grown to an event with 1200 Spyders + . Awesome bunch of folks, fun times. Until next year. So now to roll down the road. Spot Tracker will be doing duty sooooon.

Have a great Sunday...until next time.

You are an inspiration to all of us seasoned riders. All the posts I have read about your adventures with a Spyder, never have I ever heard you whine about anything. Can't say that about a lot of Spyder riders that complain that the Spyder is not perfect and doesn't ride like Benz, etc., etc. You get up, get on and ride, while so many are too scared to venture farther than their city limits.
