Getting closer to a purchase

I am almost there. Hope to purchase an RT S with se5 transmission, and a 622 trailer as soon as I am able to sell my other toys. Sold my tent trailer today and have listed my Goldwing for sale as well. It's cold here right now and I don't expect to be able to sell the bike for at least another month.

The dealer called late last week to tell me they received their first trailer Thursday evening and would I like to come and take a look at it. Well since I was going to be in the area on Saturday I asked if they could have it assembled and on the showroom floor by 10 a.m. on Saturday. For those of you who haven't seen the trailer up close, I assure you that you will be more than impressed with the styling and functionality that BRP has engineered into this unit. As you know, the styling cues are taken directly from the RT and they have a winner with this one.

I also took the opportunity to sit down with the sales guy and owner to whittle the package price down a tad more. we are now in a happier place and I will pull the trigger as soon as my bike is sold or I win the lottery...whichever comes first.

Hey Northstar,

I went in to "LOOK AT ONLY" The RT-S.

Maybe test ride.

I was impressed by the way it looked, and the quality of build. I was impressed with most everything about the RT-S.

But, it was the wife :shemademe_smilie: that said "what color are we gonna get" :shemademe_smilie: after the test ride. She liked it more than me for the comfort and safety.

She said that she feels safer not having to lean into turns

I was like you, I liked the RT-SE5 and placed an order that day for a Blue RT-SE5 with Trailer.

Now comes the wait. :gaah: :helpsmilie:

I think more than a two day wait is way tooo long. :gaah:

I have a Goldwing going on the selling block too It's a really nice Wing, I hate to get ride of it.

Wish I could

place my order today, but first the Goldwing has to sell. I have negotiated a final sales price with the dealer for the RT-S Se5 with 622 trailer (timeless black). On a positive note, the dealer called me yesterday afternoon and asked me if I would could consider a trade on my Wing. I sent him the pics of the bike, a list of add on options and my selling price. I am not holding my breath, but you never know......:dontknow:

Hope you get a good buck for your Wing, and my sincerest and most envious congratulations on your new purchase. I do hope the delivery process is seamless and timely. By the way, the dealer told me he has ordered one from BRP and it will arrive mid February. I told them to put my name on it, and the cheque is in the mail.
