• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

George Orwell's last prediction

Amen brother! I'm old so the end is not a major concern for me, my kids future on the other hand is a concern.

I'm guessing that my interpretation of that is quite the opposite of those who are here and beat the drum constantly.

That's the great thing about prophecies of all descriptions and all times.
They are a lens for the reader, not the prognosticator, to see the world subjectively.

Science fiction does appear to turn into fact. Just check out all the Sci Fi space movies from the 50's.

And...if you watch Ancient Aliens...they say most of the great prognosticators and geniuses had a connection with the aliens.

Just throwing out a couple items to chew on--if you like bait. I make no comment pro or con on this "far out" subject.

Well,
I don't take that kind of bait.
I am a skeptic on all things.

A well crafted prediction always contains elements that the readers (& presumably believers) can look at and make their own.
Nostradamus to John of Patmos.

Same Schtick.
Construct a prognostication in such a way as to be relevant to all who care to read it and make it their own.

Something tells me that Nostradamus, Casey, Orwell, ect... Is all BS. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Like beauty, it is all in the eye of the beholder.

I've never seen a prophetic writing that is specific and not subject to interpretation.
And that interpretation is what feeds the mill with whatever the agenda is of the beholder.
