• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Found their Facebook page with not a lot to see. I IM’ed them and got this. They have a Facebook page with not a lot on it.

I tried it and it kinda works but trying to move the route to a lesser (more curvy) road isn’t easy. It will take some getting used to. I’ve asked about having the app on an iPad without the fees so we can create/work with it on a bigger screen. Waiting for reply.

I was able to load Genius Maps on my iPad for a week's trial. I've asked Genius maps to figure out a way to enable us to use an iPad or laptop to create routes without paying for it again. (won't hold my breath)

Here is a video of how it works. Not sure why it just stops at a point and doesn't continue to a road junction but ?

Are there any settings you can change to pick curvier roads (Like the MyRoute-App has), or avoid interstates, toll roads, etc?

Yes there is a setting to avoid road types. You can avoid Highways, Unpaved Roads, Ferries & Toll Roads. You can have traffic or not and it will re-route you around problems.

According to their site you can put it on all of your devices if the ownership is the same

I'll give it a try. I've been Facebook messaging them and they've come up with a few different ways to create routes. I told them to provide a web site so others can learn how to do it.
