• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Needing to have both the backrest and the rack space I designed this rack had it built by ([email protected]) and mounted it to the BRP factory backrest. Now my wife is comfy and has space for all her stuff!!

Grille

Also added a small grille to the front. Stainless steel with an anodized bezel. Mostly for the looks...and Walmart driving lights below fog lights above with mod brackets $18.95 a pair and a little wiring. Helps on the early morning coastal rydes :2thumbs:

I ordered the switches from (eastern beaver company) took a long time and I think they came on a slow boat from china. I see they also have them on ebay in £'s so England. They are the narrowest at 3/4" but you still have to trim the bars cover. Otherwise pretty straight forward.

New view with the bump skid mod

cool mods

cool mods gene. i love the grill. how'd you make it? how is it attached? i could go for something like that, with some led back lights. nice work:thumbup:

Coz

Laser cut the mesh from stainless, lasered the bezel from anodized alum and pop riveted to the plastic. No cuts to the plastics to keep air flow to the radiators..the lights sound like a good idea:ohyea:

Park brake extension

I saw this on a post here and the suggestion that it may be weak the way it was done. After a few slips crunching the shin I improved the design by adding a 1" flat bar on the bottom and a filler on the end and welded them together. This way it would slide onto the exsisting lip and bolted them together. Use the stock pad on the end.

20130124_121518.jpg 20130124_121535.jpg So you have a 1 1/4 " top plate 1 1/4" filler at tip and a 1" lower plate 4 holes longer screws. Your done..:ohyea:
