General Altimax Rear tire report from anyone please?

I need a new rear tire and I'm considering a 215/60R/15 Altimax tire. Who has one and what do you like or not like about them? What mileage can I expect?
I see info on front tires but not not much on rear tires of this brand?

I'm not happy with the stock Kenda's.

I don't have a General on the rear, I have a Michelin, but the 215/60/15 size works very well on the rear. Makes the speedo accurate. PS I have 185/65/14 generals on the front and they are great.

I'm not happy with the stock Kenda's.

After my second rear was shot i switched to the General Altimax and now with 17,000 miles it has much life left in it, another 5,000 if not 10,000 of good tread left. What little wear it has shown is even across the tire.
I have ridden in some pretty good rain storms and it is just as good if not better than the stock tire on wet roads.
I do also have the front generals installed at same time and the difference in handling was dramatic from worn stock to new General Altimax.

I don't think you would be disappointed with the tire!

I'm not happy with the stock Kenda's.

I put a Nitto NT450 on my bike and have another 5000 mi. on it, with little or no loss of tread depth. the size I went with was a 205/55/15VR that is a hi performance tire and the same diameter as the stock one . and just a very little bit narrower than the stock tire. and it works GREAT.
