• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gearing

I understand the F3 had lower gearing than the
Rt models ? But the parts list shows both models have 28 teeth on front pully and 79 teeth on the rear pully ??

The (my) 2019 F3-S has a 89t rear pulley. It is the geared down version. I "think" the standard F3 has a 79t rear pulley.

If you change pully sizes on the rear drive you change the gearing. I understood the f3 was geared lower than the rt. But the part list shows the same number of teeth on both models. 28 teeth on front belt pully and 79 teeth on the rear pully

For the current model year, only the F3-S gets the larger sprocket. Earlier years the F3 and F3T got it.

I got 2019 F3-S and it has 89 tooth rear OEM.

Fellas - all 2016 and older model F3s had 89t rear sprockets. I wanted higher gearing, so ultimately sold my 2016 F3T, went to the 2016 RT Ltd(79t sprocket), and finally back to my present 2017 F3Ltd, which was the first F3 model to come out with a 79t sprocket. I am not sure about newer year models, but believe only the F3Ltds have this gearing.
