• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gear Position Sensor - non-plastic

So...I don't have the equipment to produce these, but after having both of our gear position sensors replaced, and seeing several others having to do the same, and finding out that pretty much all the Can Am stuff uses the same part...

I think it would be great if one of our vendors could produce the little plastic part with the D in it in metal... that is the part that wears down and breaks...

I'm not familiar with this part, nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn Express.

In general, making a part stronger sounds like a great idea.
I have one question. What does this part contact ?
Might you just be transferring the wear issue to the next part either up or down-stream in the train ?

:agree: sort of...
Heat transfer could become a problem, but parts diagram could really help to sort some of this out!
