• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My wife rode for about 35 miles today and we stopped for gas. When she tried to start the bike it wouldn't start. I got it started, but then the "fun started". On the dash readout, reverse was now shown as 1st gear. Shift to 1st, it says 2nd. Shift to 2nd, it still says 2nd. 3rd, 4th and 5th were displayed correctly. She rode it about 70 miles this way and we stopped for a while. When she got back on, everything was back to normal.

Any thoughts?

I had a similar problem on my SM5. It wasn't a big problem until it diaplayed R at highway speed, then went into Limp mode. As I was 3 days from home and a very very long from a dealer, desperation induced me to unplug the wires from the sensor, which is located behind and below the drive pulley. The display then scrolled a message warning of a transmission fault for the next 3 days but no more limp mode and everything else was fine.
