• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gassing Up--How easy is it

I've noticed lately, that it is difficult to fill the tank, as though there is no vent. I put the nozzle in the tank, and it immedidatley shuts off.
I have to sneak the nozzle into the very top of the tank, and make sure that I depress the handle gently in order to get the gas flow to continue, even though it's a diminished rate. Fortunately, the gas tank is lilliputian, so it's not a big hassle.

I filled up today and decided to put as much as I could in the tank. When I got to the same point where I stopped last time, I kept going. Got .8 gal more in the tank. Well, that will certainly mess up your mileage. Dropped from 27.5 down to 22.1. Next tank will be from the same station, pump so the level of the Spyder won't be a variable.
By the way, I drove 6 miles with the light on, gage firmly on E and took 5.4 gal.

It has been a long accepted fact that you must put the nozzle into the tank opening a very - very - short way. Then you fill -- fast at first and then rather slowly -- until the little vents around the filler hole start spitting up slightly. Stop then.

That's when I stopped and put .8 gal more in the tank. Most of the stations around here have weird nozzles. You have to push them in about 1 1/2 inches before they will allow flow. This definitely does not work on a Spyder. One point I had with my Spyder, the light came on at hard E. I guess putting in 5.4 gal was just about right?
