with the stock seat were is the gas cap and what do you have to do to get too it? and grade of gas do you need, 89, 91 , or 93

under the seat push key in and turn to the right i use 89
it's a same the dealer did not take time to show stuff about your new bike

Left hand side of the :spyder: under the seat............I only use premium (91 or 93 octane, whatever is available). Have fun shopping!:yes:

New bike (2014 or 15) will require 91 or better according to the label on the bike and manual.

RT fuel cap is under the seat, F3 is top of fuel tank, no seat lifting required.

Follow the links to the owner's guide for the model you are planning to buy. This gives you the chance to read the guide before you even bring it home. You can also save it to your computer and it is easy to access when the paper version may not be.

A big +1 on billy's recommendation. I downloaded the operator's guide for my Spyder and knew it better than the salesman when I picked it up.

Most will recommend ethanol free gas if it is available in your area.
