• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gas through the seat questions.....

I see several instances of the gas input opening routed through the seat. Am interested in this and would like tips on how to make it happen...thanks.:bowdown:smoky

I had a Corbin with the gas door. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but it makes it hard to see the fuel level and tends to spill gas on the door. Sold it and got the stock pan recovered by Russell/Day Long.....Love it!

Different strokes for different folks… choices are fun! I've had Russell, Corbin, Mustang, and other seats on my bikes, and none compare with the Corbin. I love the filler door, and have yet to spill a drop of fuel. I don't even have to get off the bike, if I don't want to, and only have to lift the seat to use a trickle charger (because I'm too lazy to wire a permanent solution…)

Just an FYI, the 12V outlet in the rear trunk is always hot--you can back feed a trickle charger in to it to keep the battery up.

I wondered if anyone was running their Battery Tender that way... seems like a pretty simple solution....

I bought the Corbin for the gas door and love it. No problems filling up at all. I keep a touring bag on the back seat all the time so not having to lift the seat is a must. I have my trickle charger wired up to charge from the trunk outlet since it is hot all the time.
