• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The stock shock is marginal without a trunk rack. If you remove all the tupperware around the trunk, you'll notice that all of the mounting points exist on the oposite side of the shock. It would be easy to purchase another shock and mounting ends from BRP and duplicate the shock arangement, doubling the lifting capacity or, go to a marine parts dealer and find a door shock the same length as the stock unit but with increased lifting capacity and replace yours. I did the latter option for my seat so that it would stay open with my helmet on it while refueling.

I believe that some folks have taken their existing strut to either Pep-Boys, or Autozone, and matched it up with one that they have in stock that has a heavier rating...
