• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

gas problems

Just wanted to know how the gas was in tenn. looking on cnn they said there was people driving 60 to 80 miles to KY. just for gas:dontknow:

I know a couple weeks ago when all those rumors of $5.00 went flying around - so many people filled up in some areas that they ran out - in particular around the Hendersonville/Asheville NC area - they were down to only a few stations that had gas left - all because of people rushing out like the sky was falling.

We made it through the 70's folks - we can handle this gas problem too.

You'll know when it gets SERIOUS - they'll lower the speed limit again, bring back 'even and odd' fill days, etc.

Yea we had a lot of gas stations here in memphis that ran out of gas and still have some that are out of all but 87. Every Mapco Express here was out of fuel for almost a week and prices shot up from 3.35 to 3.99 that day.

Well, I would cry for you - :D but up here we have stayed around 3.80-3.99 and then bounce up another .30 when this kind of crap happens.

We have not had gas under 3.75 for at least 6 months.

Thanks again for being there... and doing what you're doing! /o

.

And FOUR free meals a day a that:2thumbs: (thats the only gas problems we have here.........did u smell that?). Now that i think about it Im NEVER leaving.:joke:

We had trouble getting fuel in NC today. We decided to break away from the group ride in Cherokee andjump over to Ashville and cross the mountain back to my house instead of following the group back to Gatlinburg. I ended up with 1 bar on the guage and the only sation we found with fuel was backed out to the street but we had to wait. Most of the stations in NC around Cherokee and Ashville had no fuel or extreme lines. TN had plenty should of topped off before crossing over.:dontknow:
