• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. for this gas to jump that quick..........:banghead::banghead::cus::cus:

Don't know if it helps but I filled up at about $ 4.75 for a US Gallon?:dontknow:

And Yes there is no reasonable explanation as to why the oil companies raise and lower the price? You would think the cost of crude would impact it but it seems not to?

Avg for premium in Northwest Washington is 4.39-4.79 us Gal and we have 2 refineries in our county :banghead: makes it hard to says its transport costs.

R U NUTZ

R U NUTZ...??? CITGO is from the biggest COMMUNIST in the western hemisphere, HUGO CHAVEZ.....
anyone in their right mind is BOYCOTTING CITGO...... MOBIL is 100% AMERICAN.... ok, so some A-Hole truck driver gave you a sharp answer... but go to SUNOCO, or ever BP... but NOT CITGO for cry'n-out-loud..... :banghead:

They [the oil co.] raise their price because they can.
They have something you want [gas] and you are willing [begrudgingly] to pay the price.

I remember when gas in 1972 was around 30/35 cents a gal, Then the embargo hits in 1973, Then the price of Gas starts to climb and most people when interviewed by reporters would say; If gas gos to a dollar a gal. i won't drive anymore and sell my car.
Never happened people are driving more now than ever.

Maybe we should start selling our bushels of wheat and grain at the same price to the oil countries that are selling us oil. I volunteered to run as Vice President on the ticket with Romney but was not selected. Next time I will just submit my paperwork to run for President.

Sorry for the rambling

AC:spyder2:

That's a pretty hefty increase in one day. The last time I ranted about this, I started a nice argument or two--but you all know what I would be saying anyway. It is sad that people on fixed incomes are forced to make decisions between food, shelter, medicine, gasoline. The world is getting to be quite an unfriendly place sometimes. We are currently running $3.81 to $3.89 for regular--add 20 cents for premium.

It Is not country. what happen is the oil goes on a world market no matter what country
It comes from. You can pump oil out of your backyard it still goes to the world market
OPEC set the price. It is the oil company being heartless.. It's all about money.
Citgo Cheves the reason they call him that. Because he didn't play that greed game
He would sell oil to lower income home owner at lower price. He said it was shame what the oil
Company are doing. That oil pipe line they are talking about putting in that will give America so much work it is only for 2 years. We don't get know discount on oil for that. Congress ***** said if we put the pipe line what are we getting they said work building it. These are not even American company. no discount. If it break then we will get more work by cleaning it up.
I love this country you can put lipstick on a pig it is still a pig. America is using less gas then ever why are paying more greed

VALERO 100% American as well!

This morning, gas was around $1.53/Liter in Montreal, an historic high.

Converting to Gallons, that's $5.79/Gal !!!! ($Cdn and $US are practically at par)

The last highest peak could be explained with record crude oil prices. This time around, it is pure profit.

...and Montreal area population is approx 3 millon, rigth at the entrance to the great lakes, so there are no excuses for being a small market in a remote area...

...and as usual, Petro Canada is leading the push upwards...
:mad::mad::mad:

I am better stop here.

...Ben...

Gas prices here in Sherwood Park Alberta, Canada are a bit crazy as well, considering we have 5 oil refineries in our county, I live 10km away from them. Filled up yesterday at Shell 1.32 per litre. That is just over 5 dollars a gallon I think. It does no good to complain :banghead: I drive a 2010 dodge sport hemi not the best on gas and I ride a 2011 rt limited not the best on gas either:roflblack::roflblack:. I use to work in the oil and gas industry and living here you get used to paying for fuel, I don't care how much it cost I like to drive lol.

$5.889 US per Gallon

Don't know if it helps but I filled up at about $ 4.75 for a US Gallon?:dontknow:

Today, I filled up with Premium for $5.889 US a Gallon ($151.9 / litre) I wish I could find some $4.00 gas around here, too!

On the positive side...
I think that the RT is having a fuel mileage contest with the MINI that I got for the Missus...
The last 2 stops at a filling station; the RT got 36.7 & 37.4 mpg...
The MINI got 35 & 34.1!!
So I'm dancing! :yes::yes::yes:

Local and state taxes can also cause variations in prices from one area to another...

However... if you can afford a Spyder... the cost to fuel it shouldn't be a problem. If it is... well then...

I got it all figured out:D
