• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gas Price Survey 2013

Update: 2/13/13 Gas went up again. Now regular selling for $3.78 and Spyderfuel selling for $3.98. Guessing $4.25 by March 1. Hoping that I am wrong.

Update.

My local Shell is up 21 cents in the last five days and 54 cents in the last three weeks. I guess this means spring is here.....

There is a 76 Union @ 26th and Wilshire in Santa Monica that has 91 octane for $5.99, or if you want to pump it yourself for $5.19:yikes::yikes:

Rode by this yesterday, gassed up today at a Shell for $4.51

Devils Advocate here,
It's called the law of supply and demand.
If you can cut the supply, You can create the demand, and then raise prices.:roflblack:

Hello boborgera: Yes, we went around on this one last year. No problem. This year, I am trying to stay out of the politics of the situation--other than what I stated in the opening post of the thread.

I just want to see what is happening with the prices this year. My premise is that each year it seems to be a pattern. Start raising the prices asap, take advantage of the people driving in the summer, get the prices up higher than ever before, reduce the price at the end of the season to something where we feel we are getting a deal (at higher prices than the start of the season), and then wait for the next reason to raise prices again.

I would so like to be wrong, but the last two years seem to be following "the pattern".

$3.78 for 87 octane and $3.98 for 93 octane here in central KY today. It was $3.33 for 87 a week ago.

I refuse to pay those prices, So I'm going to send away for this pill i seen for sale on EBay,
The seller says you just put one pill in the tank then fill it with water.
Only 9.99 for a pack of 20,. 30 day Money back guarantee.

Humboldt County Gas Prices

Summer is on the way and the prices are going up at a record pace.

As of 2/8/13 gas was up to $3.71 a gallon for regular and $3.91 per gallon for 90 octane (spyderfuel). This is now the highest gas has ever been at this time of the year in Alaska.

My prediction: We will see $5.00 per gallon plus by Memorial Day, and $6.00 or more per gallon by the end of summer. Then--they will cut us a break and we will only have to pay $4.00 per gallon plus until they play the game again in 2014.

Humboldt County is $4.29 gallon. Blue Lake, Ca. Casino is $4.07 We are the highest in the nation, I think.

Bonniele: Currently, you are looking like the winner. We are up to $3.78 and $3.98 for :spyder2: fuel as of today. 2/16/13.
