• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gas Price Survey 2013

Gas price in Humboldt County, CA as of 3/3/2013

Summer is on the way and the prices are going up at a record pace.

As of 2/8/13 gas was up to $3.71 a gallon for regular and $3.91 per gallon for 90 octane (spyderfuel). This is now the highest gas has ever been at this time of the year in Alaska.

My prediction: We will see $5.00 per gallon plus by Memorial Day, and $6.00 or more per gallon by the end of summer. Then--they will cut us a break and we will only have to pay $4.00 per gallon plus until they play the game again in 2014.

As of today, $4.39 for regular, $4.49 next, $4.59 Premium, $4.22 Diesel.:yikes:

Don't know about today but our fuel prices have been going down (all except diesel which has been stuck at $3.99). Regular yesterday was $3.49 in East Tennessee.

Same here, I guess they made their extra $$$, Now they drop back a little, But never back from where they started from. :dontknow:

3.80 for regular, add 10 to 15 cents each for plus and premium around here. NC has the highest state gas tax in the souteast. Was in Va. last Wednesday and filled up for 3.48. We usually get gas on base and save 5 cents per gallon using the military star card, we pay the card off each month. A friend made a good point last week, he said "where else in the world would people complain about spending 3.75 a gallon on gas but think nothing of spending 4 bucks on a cup of coffee".

3/4/13. A temporary reprieve here also--Down from $3.95 to $3.89. $4.09 for :spyder2: fuel.

Dwayne says: " This is not the start of the "big drop" but only a temporary reprieve. They are not going to be done with price increases until after Labor Day"
