• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My gas light goes on at half empty (half full, for the optimists ;D ). I can ride it another 30 miles and fill the tank with 3.6-3.6 gallons.

The dealer ordered a new sensor since, following the 625 miles service, he feels that the only thing it could be is that.

Once I have it replaced, I'll let you know.

I got 160 miles and when it showed one bar, my fuel light came on. It took 5.5 gallons, so I had about one gallon or 25 miles left after the light went on. I start to look for gas around 150 miles just to give myself some room.

Basically the same for me. I'm getting 30 - 32 MPG and the gaslight and one bar on the gauge is about 1 gallon of fuel or about 30 miles of riding before the tank is empty.

If this thing really does have a 27 litre tank... then my light comes on at 17 litres gone. Almost consistantly, since day one, light comes on, I stop for gas...17 litres.

It has been well established now that the 27 liter (7.1 gallon) capacity was overstated by BRP. True volume is less, but reports on the exact volume vary. 24 liters seems to be about right. Taking 17 liters (4.5 gallons) at a fill seems about normal. We usually get in 4.5 to 5 gallons, 5.8-5.9 gallons with no bars on the gauge for some 15-20 miles. Whew! Too close for my comfort...more than once.
