Gas door add on

Someone had a post where they had cut out the seat and put a nice hinge on opening. Does anyone know where to find that post?

:gaah: What I remember from that thread was "can you spot the difference" or something like that. Was good thread & they basically cut out part of the seat frame covering the cap left enough cloth material Velcro close over the cap & end result was very clean:thumbup: (Hope this is the one you are talking about

I found that post. This one actually had a metal hinge that opened with the gas cap inside.

What ever method you use, post the results with pics. We all like to see different stuff. I learned some tricks to do if I do another one like mine but your choice may suit another rider better. I've found when you do something like this others who ride with you want you to do their ride.
