Good morning Missouri Spyderlovers.................just wondering if any of you have received your replacement gas cap as of yet :dontknow: Mine just came yesterday in the mail so if you have not received yours as of yet maybe it's"in the mail".:yes:

Got ours Saturday, we went to the bike show at Rosemont and talked with our dealer and he said they were on the way.
He also was concerned that it would not fix the gas smell we get from time to time. Thought it might be some kind of
vent when it's filled up with gas or we get it in the garadge some time when the heat is turned on. (expansion) Have not had the gas smell alot but it dose give one a worry about it when it's inside the garadge. We did meet some nice folks at the show and look to see them at Spider fest, also got some goodes for the rt.

It looks like slow but sure they are showing up. At first look, with the larger diameter, I worried that they might be a problem with the fuel door that is installed in my seat:lecturef_smilie: but it is fitting fine and is still easy to reach and remove without lifting the seat.:2thumbs:

Got mine yesterday up here in Ottawa, a friend of mine with a RSS also got his, now we just have to wait for the 4 feet of snow to go away!

"GAZ" cap

Mine came today, but I haven't opened it. The shipping label says "Gaz Cap"--do you think they sent me the right one? Will a French-Canadian cap fit my US model? Or is there a French additive I can put in my gas to make it work?

I've had mine for a couple of weeks. Worried about the install, but thanks to Lamonster's video, the install went really well. No problems & the cap has stayed on. :roflblack::roflblack:. Sorry folks, I just couldn't resist.
