Curious if anyone has had any issues with the gas cap sticking and failing to open? I went to fill up yesterday and the gas cap would not open. It would turn and just click. It didn't matter which direction I turned. I tried pushing down on it and it still would not open. The temperature outside was 98 degrees, the bike was pretty warmed up from running for the past hour, and the gas cap felt a bit hot to the touch. I ended up going home and then tried to open the cap this morning after things had cooled down. It opened fine this morning. I noticed on another board that an RT rider had reported similar symptoms but I would like to know if other ST users are seeing this. I think this has something to do with the many complaints about heat management on the ST's. Any thoughts?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Heat may have some effect and cause a marginal bad cap not to work. Never had a problem with my cap and my view is if the gas cap does not open sometimes it's time for the dealer to get you a new one.
