• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Garmin Zumo 660 Motorcycle mount and Givi D770ST Screen

I wanted a satnav on my Spyder and after reviewing many, decided on the Zumo 660LM. At the same time I wanted a slightly higher screen so picked the Givi D770ST. I dont know if anyone else has fitted the Zumo, so for those who haven't, here is What I did after deciding mounting on the bars meant looking away from line of sight with the road.

01. Remove the stock screen and store in safe place
02. Remove the top cowl cover over safety card
03. Remove safety card from slot and store away
04. Mark a centre line on the top cover with masking tape
05. Place Ram mount on the line giving the ball a 1/8 inch clearance and mark hole centres
06. Drill the 2 holes using a bit to give clearance for M6 allen bolts
07. Bolt the mount to the cover, place cover over slot and mark where the bolts will go through
08. Widen the slot where marked with same drill bit, plus an extra hole in the slot for the cable to pass through
09. Loosely fit mount to ball and pass cable through the slot, the slot is flexible
10 Attach the cable to your prefference and test by clipping on Zumo, it should auto start
11. Refit top cover, shaping wire to fit neatly
12. Fit new Givi Screen, position Zumo to suit your riding position
As you see I don't have to turn my head, just look down slightly still keeping focus with the road
