• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Not showing up yet on Garmin Express. Did they indicate when it would show up?

Just updated mine . . . I spent Tuesday through Saturday riding down Skyline Drive, the "Back of the Dragon", and through West Virginia . . . could not use the media player to listen to music on my Bluetooth headset because it just wouldn't work . . . hope this resolves the issue!

Steve,
Where do we find the updates?
I've got the GPS and USB cable; now all I need is a website...

The easiest way is to go to garmin. Here is the link https://support.garmin.com/support/...caseId={f9ca1dc0-4020-11e2-e8a7-000000000000}.
Follow the instructions and install Garmin Express on your computer.
Garmin Express will keep track of software and map updates and install them for you. Also will give you access to the full users manual and is updated as the firmware changes.

Garmin Express Software... Got it!

Yes. The software will only take a few minutes but the new map can take hours depending on your internet speed.

FYI, you can downgrade too! Just not through Garmin. There are several websites that provide all the code releases for most Garmin's. You can download it and put the code update on your GPS and be downgraded. It's a simple matter of connecting to a PC and copying the files.

Google search is your friend here to find instructions and download code.
