There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The BRP price/site does not include the mount and hardware-they want an additional $250 for that

A FYI and you may already know this but word is, BRP is going back to the 660 from the current 590. Supposedly a parts supplier issue?
I sprung for the 590 over the 660 (which I already had) just because.
I know how to operate the 660 better and probably would have been just as happy keeping it, especially knowing BRP was switching back to it.
I like the 590 but it's smarter than me at the moment and I feel a little insecure. :roflblack:

i just got the 660lm at half the price of the 590.
it does everything i want.
it comes with 2 mounts, one for the bike, and another for the car( and it knows which one is being used).
with the help of billy and steve wiring was cake. no need to spend $250 on the BRP mount.

I just bought a Garmin complete in package, brand new, for $399.95 with free shipping. Date was 19 May 2015. From factoryoutletstore.com. The box had everything needed to mount on Spyder and also a mount to use in car. Also, has life time updates. Hope this helps.:yes::yes:
