Hi all wanted to know if anyone here has a Garmin zumo 590lm on there spyder? If so can you post a pic and was it hard to install? :nopic:

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I installed the 390lm on my 2015 RT it was a piece a cake. On the 2015 all you need is about a $15 audio cable. I remove the analog gauges, on the right side I mounted the GPS the left side I added a $29 XM radio. If you're installing it on an older Spyder RT you'll need to make your own harness which is not hard to do. I think the 390 is a great GPS and the 590 is even better. My dealership actually called me to find out how to install a GPS on the new 2015.
