There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I installed the Kewl Metal Gizmo mount with a Ram ball mounted to it. This gives me options to mount my GPS or my iPhone, or anything else. There is a thread here somewhere showing how to do the Gizmo Mount.
I run my Garmin off its battery, so I can't help with the wiring.

I don't have the 660 but I have the 765t and I mounted it with this brp kit. It comes with the wiring to make the sound come out the onboard speakers. The wiring the kit comes with also has power wires. I used the cig cord Garmin came with and cutoff the cig plug and direct wired it to the wires in the kit. Now it comes on when I start the spyder and shuts down when I turn the key off.
