GARMIN Question

Got a new 2014 RT Limited and realized that the Icon for BRP dealers is not there. Does anyone else have this problem?
Did BRP save money by not programming the Garmins before shipping them?

Maybe you got a new one? The Garmin 660 has been discontinued for almost 2 years.

On a Can am model on startup it should say Garmin CAN AM.

They still make and sell 660LM models. The LM stands for lifetime maps. They only stopped making the standard 660 model. On the CAN AM 660 model you have to buy lifetime maps extra. If you look under the battery it will tell you exactly what you have.

They skipped 2 steps, the Icon and the Dealer files.

Yep. There is a whole custom version of the software that gets loaded, is supposed to anyway. They do the same thing with the HD version of the 660.
