Garmin Montana 680T on 2017 F3 Limited

I use this gps on my snowmobile, with this mount - https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/89575#devices

Has anyone used the Garmin AMPS mount with either a ram mount, or somehow to the center of the bars to mount this gps? I know BRP makes the ZUMO mount and power cable, and that AMPS bracket is slightly different in dimension, but would like to use the Montana that I already have for my sled.... I know I can do it with a ram mount, but not sure that is the best way to do this... Thanks. Dave

Well you know it will fit on ram mount, go with what you know:thumbup:

You may be better off with Bluetooth & a headset:2thumbs:


Looking at the info tho it is lacking when it comes to street maps & interactions without additional software, so may not be good for spyder¿.

Thanks for the link and response. I realize it really isn't the best "highway" type gps without an additional map, however I really just want the gps to use in a similar manner as I use in the winter snowmobiling. In the summer we ride lots of roads that are off the main path, and travel kind of remotely exploring, and I just want it to have a general idea of where I'm at and what direction I'm headed...
