• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Garmin Goooooone

Well here in the US we are all taking the day off and having a big feast in honor of your surgery and its coming successful conclusion.

That doesn’t surprise me, Paul. Aussies are held in very high regard by The Donald, as evidenced by him NEARLY getting our Prime Ministers name right when he first met him. Have a great Thanksgiving ;):spyder2: (I couldn’t find a turkey, so a spider will have to do )

Do you have any trouble with heat shutting your iPhone down, El Dorado? What model of iPhone are you using?

Pete

Yeah, that’s going to be my only concern, Highwayman. We get pretty warm days out here too. The iPhone 7 is supposed to be more heat tolerant than past models, but only time will tell.
We are coming into summer now, so I’ll keep you posted (but not for a couple of months.....hip replacement on Thursday;)). What model phone are you using?

Pete

Good luck with you hip replacement. Had my left hip replaced (thankfully the quick-to-heal anterolateral procedure in 2014) and was up and walking (with the aid of a walker in the hospital) that evening. Spent two weeks with a walker followed by two weeks with a cane and started riding again - two wheels at the time (BMW K75S and Kawasaki Versys 650).

Replaced the Versys with a 2015 RT-S because I like it a lot and because I do not ever wish to overextend my artificial hip - the one very important thing you never want to do. Plus it really helped to convince the wife I needed a Spyder. :ohyea:
