Mine works well

I have had the flash 2 pass for a while now, and it is nice to have. Obviously a small garage door opener would work as well, but this seemed like an easy add-on, and was.

I have mine wired to my horn. I pull into the driveway and if the door is closed I honk the horn twice. My wife then opens the door for me. ,

HAHA!! This is currently what I do. I hit a snag when she is on the back with me though, then I have to wait for her to jump off, unlock the door, and open the garage

On my 09 GS I stuck it under the handle bars, beside the center hub with double sided tape. I had the 1 inch riser so I am not sure if it will fit without. It was the 3 button remote that came with the opener. Protected from the rain, rode through rain storm and did not harm it. Invisible to anyone that did not know it was there. No leaning or reaching to get to it.
