Garage door opener?

The wife has a RT-S with HID headlights. I want to add a Flash2Pass transmitter to her Spyder. Can I wire it in, so that the flash2pass sees the high beam switch on and off so it works properly?

But I think it says somewhere where it won't work with hid's.:dontknow: maybe they've changed it or the newer version will work with the hid lights.

check out CUNDIFFLA'S MOD on g d o . since i had a spare remote, this one was only 6 or 7 dollars at radio shack, one of my favorite mods. very easy too.

I should have clarified more....I have a flash2pass ALREADY installed on my Vision and garage door...All I need to know is if the flash2pass transmitter will work on a RT-S with HID..

It's an easy install. Did it on my RTS. I mounted the Xmitter with RTV on top of the right speaker box. The two wires on the Flash2pass module were tied into the 3 wire connector that you disconnect to remove the headlight. I connected on black wire to the black wire of the connector and the other black wire to the gray wire of the connector. You can test the install without installing the headlight to ensure it works, just toggle the pass function of the headlight twice real quick.

Thanks Doc....I sent Flash2Pass an e-mail and within a couple of hours they had responded and EVEN included a Spyder specific install pdf with pictures :thumbup::thumbup:
Now I have to get the nerve up to dissect my WIFE'S :spyder2:....Might just take it to the dealer to avoid ANY WIFE issues! :yikes:
