• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Future of the RS

Thanks for posting the video! That is somewhat like what i would like to do. Most of the people in my mustang club that do this type use a course set up on an airfield or large parking lot. We do go to VIR (Virginia International Raceway) about twice a year for a toys for tots charity run. I have been fortunate enough to do that on 4 different vehicles. The first time was on my 94 cobra. It did OK, but was built for more straight line drag racing. 2nd was on my 03 cobra convertible, handled nice and was loaded with power. 3rd. was on my 02 lightning, did very good, but was lacking in the brake department, and last was on my 06 Roush. I must say, it was great, but I just wish it had the power and pull of my 03 cobra. Never got enough nerve to try it on 2 wheels, but I would like to do it on 3.

Yep I remember hearing about that on the Spyderriders NZ site. The guy who posted said to ask for Jason at Waterworx in Auckland but I couldn't find any details for a company with that name. That was the ST that had the power increased to 120hp/125nm and the rev limit lifted to 10k.

This sounds interesting; please let us know if you can find out more details about it!

It's a great time...I may go sensorless next run, that track would be a great place. They do drifting there, too.

Don't know where all this discussion is going.

RS is going no where. it's their roots.

Biggest thing is the RT and F3 and the price being so close.

If they put a motor in the RS to compete with the sport bike .

That would compete toward the younger crowd.

That's where the future is.
