• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I know you will laugh atthis question. The fuses in the spyder are they the same fuses that you can buy at the automotive store? Cant wait to meet all of you at spyder fest.

I got an assortment of fuses from a autoparts store that had fuses that fit the box in the fornt and the box under the seat. Also I saw some at WalMart.

Types of Fuses ?

I have a 2010 Spyder RT – S

As the weather in the UK has improved I have started to ride out more
as a safety issue I always carry a set of spare fuses (Just in case of failure)

Can anyone help identify the size and type of fuses I need

I understand the following – In the front trunk the fuses are the normal Blade type fuses ?
of 5,10, 15 and 20 amp or should these be the Mini blade type fuses
(Smaller versions of the Blade type)
Both types are freely available from garages and automotive suppliers

In the rear are a different type of fuse – I understand the range is 20,25,30,40 and 60 amp
What are these fuses called - on a previous post someone has mentioned J Case ?
And also mentioned getting some standard length and not the low profile type

Can someone confirm what these different type of fuses are called

I'm not sure the 2nd type of fuses are available in the UK and may have to purchase direct from the USA
or My Spyder dealer -At least I know what to ask for

As others often mention This website is an excellent library of Spyder Information
Fact and Fiction

Thanks

I purchased my jcase fuses here:
http://www.mouser.com/Search/Refine.aspx?Keyword=jcase+fuse

They are the standard length; at least in my 2008GS they are.
