The pattern and colors of the gentleman's kilt are called a "tartan". Tartans are clan specific. One cannot see much of the particular tartan, but it does resemble the Campbell tartan. Thank you. they have been gone a long time - since the 1970s.

My mother had five five younger brothers. Each and every one of them looked exactly like the 'typical Scotsman.' Each was male pattern bald - not a little, but a lot! All from ~6'0" to over 6'4" (Paul and Edwin).

I sure miss them and the rest of their generation. We owe a lot to their generation.
