• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fun with Traffic Circles

There's six sequential traffic circles near my house. The neighboring towns put them in to speed up traffic flow, but they also make for a fun time when you have some time to kill or need to test the latest mod.

My wife gave me a GoPro camera last week for my birthday, so I took it for spin. Here's my first video. Nothing fancy, just me having fun. By the way, 1080p takes forever to render on Youtube.

Nice ryde  The circles are really speed up the traffic :agree: :D

We have traffic circles around here. But never so many so close together!! That's crazy ridiculous!!!

Nice video!! When you know how to drive the circle it's not so bad. There are just too many drivers around here who have no idea what to do on them. :gaah:

That vid only shows three of the six traffic circles. To get to the others, I'd have to go through a school zone and I didn't want to slow down. :doorag:

When the circles went in, we had a lot of accidents. People could not understand the concept of "Yield to traffic in roundabout."

We have about 70 traffic circles here in Carmel.:yikes: They call them round-a-bouts here. You can certainly get Nanny upset around those.

traffic circles

that is awesome, in this neck of the woods most people have NO IDEA how to navigate them. The best one I have seen is in FORT MCMURRAY Alberta, lanes coming in from all directions and flat cobblestone on the inside of the lanes, very different with no barricades.:ohyea:

I just returned from the birthplace of the roundabouts - Europe. They drove me crazy in some places because the signage left a lot to be desired but I did appreciate them when the fog was so dense you couldn't see 50 yds. ahead. I wasn't worried about someone (or me) running a stop sign that they couldn't see.

Man I got dizzy. I've only been on one traffic circle on the bike (and my life for that matter) in LOng Beach. Scared the hell out of me but the GPS unit was going nuts! On the next right, on the next right, on the next right ... yeah yeah yeah.

What's even more dangerous than Traffic Circles are 4 way stop signs at
intersections, They had to remove them here in Jersey,
Too many 4 car accidents:ohyea:

good quality - like the scenes where you can see : only the shadow of a spyder is faster than a spyder :2thumbs:
here in austria/italy they want to change most of the traffic-lights to this "traffic-circles " - like that for spyder-trainings ..
