• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Full MSRP in Ontario?

Canadian GP

New member
I've seen a few Spyders listed by dealerships on Autotrader.ca at full MSRP, do new ones sell for full price in Ontario?

Think it is hard to get anything BRP sells less than MSRP in Canada! Dealers say they don't have much room to deal, but will sometimes deal on the accessories. Buying a $34,500 Spyder I would want two year B.E.S.T. thrown in no cost at a minimum or I would not buy one.

Ain't that the truth......seems the only time they move much is when they want to move them. In other words when the 2013 models hit the floor the 2012 will go on sale.

I bought my 2011 RT-S in April of 2012 and saved about 3k as well they threw in additional warranty (1 year after the standard 2 year Spyder warranty?) if I remeber correctly? And yup ATV, Snowmobile or Watercraft all seem the same.

Good Luck

BRP stepping on the dealers

BRP has been keeping a close eye on the Canadian dealers telling them they cannot sell below MSRP and the only way they can get around it is on the trade in or the extras. They also have been stepping on the US dealers near the Canadian border for selling to Canadians.

I did have trades but ET at Louiselle sports in emburn (near ottawa) seemed to be very much a deal maker kinda guy.

Got a great deal at ST.Ogen in Barrie well below list on a 2011 RTS Limited ordered in Oct. 2010 plus BRP threw in 1,000 bucks in accessories. Still paid about 3 grand more than are American cousins . Sure you can buy a Spyder in the states and bring it home but don't go looking for warranty work here as well be prepared to still pat HST.
