• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fuel

Not entirely on point with this thread, but I did read in our newspaper today that Flarda is considering increasing the ethanol content to 15%. Additionally, there was an article yesterday espousing all the great things about ethanol in our gas. SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!!!!!!!!

If your bike, car or what ever is set up to use premium and you use 87
the on board computer will retard the timing, So there will be a slight lost of power. If you ride easy you'll won't notice it.
But most test riders don't ride easy, So when your selling bikes, your selling
performance. Fast 0 to 60 and 1/4 mile times sell bikes.
:agree:
I always used 87 because I didn't experience "knock". After reading about the computer adjusting for the anti-knock a while back, I started using 91. Still no knock, but better performance. I tried mid-grade (89) and I didn't find that there was a difference from the 91. So I am using Mid-grade (91) most of the time. The cost (and the difference) is higher here, so I might as well save the two or three dollars per tank and use it to buy more gas or accessories.
Regular is $1.07 a litre ($4.07/US gal)

Premium is $1.20/litre ($4.56/US gal).
That is about $3 per tank more and the US$ is at par with the Cdn$ right now

Forgot to mention that I have a 2008 RS (recommended 87). i would say the higher compression RT would benefit with 89 ir 91 Octane
