• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fuel stabilizer comparison test

FortNine did say something I've always believed; if the snake oils really did what they claimed, the fuel companies would have put them in their gas in the first place.

Very interesting. I've been a Seafoam user for years, without issues. That said, I always transition over to 100% gasoline come fall. Too late now, but will likely give something else a try next year...

The culprit is, as is so many times the case, our beloved government.

Ethanol fuel, other than putting money in farmer's pockets (which I am not against, you understand), is harmful and negative in every other aspect. Corn (which is the primary source for our ethanol) is very hard on the soil. It strips it of nutrients to the point where you have to rotate in other crops (like Soy Beans) to keep the soil viable at all. The world is starving and we are putting food in our gas tanks!

It takes more fossil fuel to make a gallon of ethanol fuel than it takes to make a gallon of straight gasoline. Ethanol fuel has less energy so it takes more of it to go the same distance. Ethanol fuel costs more (though with your tax dollars used to subsidize ethanol fuel, it APPEARS to cost less). And, it takes an untold and very expensive toll on millions of engines every year.

This is what happens when you live on propaganda and 'Feeling Good' rather than on facts and reality.

I ride year round since I live in the SE. But I always use 100% gas locally. If I am on a long distance trip I only use 10% ethanol if I have no other choice. Since I ride infrequently from about November to May I never use fuel stabilizer. Never had a problem starting my Spyder or water in the fuel.

Soooooi True!

I run the cruddy e10 in all my vehicles including my motorcycle - been doing so for too many years to count. Treat the cycle and all small engines with Sea Foam occasionally and when going into any type of hibernation. So far no issues over the years so I am sticking with the SF. Just pick one and go for it.
