I know its just a short comparison, but the numbers show it all
With the new Supersport Short windshield on, winglets removed and staying at no more than 70 mph, I averaged 38 mpg from Florida to chicago and then to North Carolina. But, when chasing down Doc and Forrest, it dropped to 34 mpg
Before the changes, my average over 4000 miles was 29 mpg.
Less wind resistance and a slightly more rounded form really made the difference. Also, the wind buffeting is gone when the shield is raised up.
Gotta give another :2thumbs: to the crew at ESI for making these available to us.
