• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fuel mileage for the Chicago event

I know its just a short comparison, but the numbers show it all
With the new Supersport Short windshield on, winglets removed and staying at no more than 70 mph, I averaged 38 mpg from Florida to chicago and then to North Carolina. But, when chasing down Doc and Forrest, it dropped to 34 mpg
Before the changes, my average over 4000 miles was 29 mpg.
Less wind resistance and a slightly more rounded form really made the difference. Also, the wind buffeting is gone when the shield is raised up.
Gotta give another :2thumbs: to the crew at ESI for making these available to us.

:2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs: for ESI Crew!

Glad to hear you are satisfied customer with that windshield, looks really good!

I haven't bought or recieved a product yet I didn't like :thumbup:

Was great to finally get to meet and talk to the ESI Crew in person :D

Humm... gonna get killed for this one...

You should have made E...n fly back. Lots of wind restience there.:roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack:

I also have a smaller shield (2,5 inch also cutted on the sides)and no flaps.. and she needs around 10-15% less than before .. but no chance if you go a little faster to reach more than 30mpg ..
I think the end-speed is a little higher ( around 110 mph)
