• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fuel filter

I just did mine. It is a Walbro 125-199. Made in the USA and is the same from the Arctic Cat Prowler quads and ATV's.

Honestly, if you really wanted to, you could easily take the OEM one down to the local auto parts store and find another one that fits. It seems to be a specific diameter to fit the clamp down bracket, but that could be replaced with another method of securing it. Otherwise, it's a pure automotive style fuel injector (high pressure) fuel filter.

Mind you, I'm not advocating doing this, but it is a viable alternative to OEM. Especially if travelling and you get some major fuel contamination or something.

Here's more...

cheapcycleparts.com and many autoparts stores carry them. And all the above should not be a problem

We let our old one dry out, bagged it with a couple of clamps, and threw it into the side case. In a pinch, out on the road, it can work as a temporary replacement.
