• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

the best thing is if the guys that have been on the dyno with the differant pipes -- that you could share the maps with us less fortunate guys that cant get to a dyno and save other members some money.

thanks for everyones help -- lots of guys will be greatful

I suspected any staightthru single pipe should be close enough to the Two Brothers to use powercammander map 5. Works for us. Give it a try.

You need to install Two Brothers CD that will give you 4 maps. Go to powercommander website and go to spyder maps. If you can't figure it out you can call their tech support, that is what I did the first time. They will go into your computer and do the work for you. Powercommander makes the Juice Box Pro so they will help you. Good luck. Remember MAP 5 worked for us.

yes i tried the website and could not even find the maps ?

the maps are preloaded into the juicebox pro -- i just turned the dial to 2 and away i went -- it ran just fine -- just have a dead spot where after shifting into second gear it wants to fall on its face for about 2 second then it peps up and goes..

i dont know much about turning all the dials on the controller but i would like to get rid of tha second gear hickup.

What rpms are you shifting at?You should not have a dead spot if you are above 6k when shifting. If you read the manual on the cd you will see it is easy to make adjustments to your trim levels also. You need to have your computer hooked up to the bike when running to see what map and settings you are running to be sure.

i shift around the 5500 rpm area -- i have been trying to figuire out where the bike likes to be shifted at -- and it really seems the the bike likes 6000- 6500 area the most , but not knowing the machine well enough yet i wasnt sure if i should be shifting that high on every gear all the time -- i was thinking i would get no gas mileage if i shifted at 6000 or higher --- at 5500 rpm i am only getting about 25 mpg , and i have about 350 miles on her so far. i was hopeing i would be getting 35 mpg or more but i see that is not gonna happen..

all my other bikes i have always shifted by ear and never looked at the rpms and for some reason i feel i have to look and pay attention to the spyder -- not sure why. guess because it is something totally new to me.

i did read the manual and yes it does sound easy to adjust -- i just never have done that before and dont want to mess anything up.

this is why we always shared maps from dyno runs for all the differant set ups -- so guys dont have to go through all this .

Call Two Brothers tech support or Powercommander tech support. They will help tune the bike. They were very helpful to me. I needed help the first time, but did it myself the second time.

Spyder just starts to come alive around 5000 so if you upshift at 5500, I think you land at rpm that's too low, especially for spirited ride. Spyder cruises at around 6000 on freeway so shifting at 6000, 7000 or 8000 is a big deal even thou it may feel too high at first. It's just the nature of the beast. Spyder is a high revving machine.

Really depends on what kind of riding you're doing. If just cruising... then 5,500 or so would be pretty typical. For more performance oriented riding... 7,000 - 8,000 is where I often find myself...... ;)
