Fuel Comsumption Display?

I was paging thru the factory service manual and ran across display setting for "instant fuel Consumption". (if so equiped). On page 398. Anybody have any experience with this feature? Possibly this was an artifact of pre-production testing?:dontknow:

Page 398 of the 2008/2009 Shop manual Section 5 (Electrical System) Subsection 05 (Lights/Guages). There is a table that shows the display that appears when you push the S button. See the attached image.

You may be looking at your Operator's Guide (143 pages) and not the Service manual (841 pages)

Here is the full page that q-brrr and rleathen are referring to.

Under FUNCTION SEQUENCE
1. Outside Temperature
2. Instant fuel consumption (if so equiped)
3. Average fuel consumption (if so equiped)
4. Tachometer (revolutions per minutes)

Note, that is how equipped is spelled in the manual.

Those options don't display on my dash, but the function might be available when the Spyder is hooked up to the computer.
