• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fuel Canister

I have read many posts regarding over fueling and the fuel canister issues. I have a question regarding over fueling and when it goes to the canister. On the RT you have the hole where the gas pump nozzle goes that is a metal area and will hold a little fuel when it overflows but will drain back into the tank after a second or so. This area has two slots in the metal right above the hole where the pump goes. You then have the black plastic area after that fills to where to fuel will go and a very small drain hole in the lower right section. The dumb question is which area is the fuel going to the canister from. Hope this is clearer than it reads and not as stupid as is sounds.

Not the black plastic under gas cap with little hole that just drips under plastic right above header pipe so be careful
not to overfill tank....

VARIOUS HOLES AND SLOTS

I think the slots are just vents for when you are filling the tank...the hole at the bottom of the gas fill hole is just drainage into the gas tank....I think all the tanks vent pretty much the same into the evac cannister from the top of the tank...you have to remove right side tupperware to see it...I have posted a fix for this problem many times sorry not going to do it again ...do a search.....Mike...

The fuel passes through the tank vent, which is integral with the rollover valve, which is installed at the top of the tank a little higher than the fill hole, next to the pump/sensor module. Part of the problem is often with the speed of fill, which surges fuel past the rollover valve, especially when the tank nears full. BTW, if you are filling to a point above or even with the "no-lead" baffle, you are filling far enough to force fuel past the rollover valve even at low fill rates. Best to fill just until fuel starts to spit from the vent slots.
