• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Frustration trying to find boots

5e feet

A heart felt THANK YOU for all the comments and suggestions. Many were new leads.

The Hathorn Ranch Packers I bought 10 to 12 years ago from Whites were custom made, i.e., they selected the lasts that most closely fit my foot outline, and so were a perfect fit for width and length. But they never laced up uniformly close which I finally have figured out is because of my high arch. In spite of that they have absolutely been the most comfortable boots I have EVER had on my feet. The thought of getting a pair of boots that would be "oh, so comfortable" in all three dimensions from a company that has a good reputation is just too irresistible! :ohyea: Plus, they're truly American made, not just American assembled!

For a look at who Wesco is and how they operate watch this company promo video.

If all goes well I will have them in time to wear to Spyderfest!
I have size 11 5e feet. Have very good luck
With milwaukee boot company. And Propet shoe/boots

Try looking at military boot manufacturers.

Here's one 8EEE Gore-Tex boot, found at U.S. Cavalry. I don't know how to address your arch problem, though. A drop-in support?
Two aspects of that boot make me nix it. I want unlined leather and no laces. The high arch isn't a problem on the underside of my feet, it's how it affects the fit of the boot on the top of my foot.

Wide boots

I have size 11 5E feet. Have great service
From Footsmart purchasing Propet boots
Also very good for from milwaukee boot company
Both company's offer very wide boots with large toebox

I like Zappos. Free shipping each way. Had them ship me 5 pair of boots. Shipped 4 pair back. All at their expense, never left the house. Tom
